Happy Monday, everyone!
I'm loving that the 90's are back in style. It's my favorite decade - the music, the art, the movies, and of course the fashion! I have a 90's playlist that I listen to frequently. From Backstreet Boys to Blink 182, 90's music never gets old to me! It always puts me in a feel good mood. I love to listen at the beach or pool in the summer. I'm singing Will Smith's Summertime song in my head right now... I'm fully vibin'.
Since the tattoo choker necklace came back in style last year (I own them in every color), I knew more 90's styles were coming back in the near future! This look was inspired by the 90's, from the denim block heels to the square cut crop top. Not to mention this fanny pack! The modernized name for it is a bum bag, but let's face it... it's a fanny! I don't know why fanny's went away? Maybe, because it turned into a soccer mom thing and became blah? Who knows, anyway, I'm SO glad these styles are back and here to stay.
Love this red square neck ribbed crop top from Missguided. It comes in 3 other colors and I am wearing a size 8. I normally am a size 4 in tops, however, with crop tops - I size up. I find that they fit way better. I like to wear them a little loose and want to be able to raise my hand without having to worry about my chest area showing. My meachem black sunnies are from Aldo. They come in red and white, and also a mini version HERE. I love the cat eye look! I believe this style originated in the 60's, but this style was worn frequently in the 90's. This was the era of small frames and different shaped sunnies. This black bum bag is from Missguided and is currently sold out. However, I found some similar styles in black - HERE, HERE and HERE! They are perfect to fit the necessities of everyday life like your phone, keys, lip gloss, etc. They make a simple outfit come to life. LOVE these bags - they are a must this summer!
My denim heels are from Guess many moons ago. I found so many similar options of the same frayed style - HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE and HERE. I think these heels complete the whole look!
