Good morning everyone :)
Today is a fairly short post, but perfect timing! I am sharing my favorite teas to sip! With spring around the corner and daylight savings time yesterday, I felt the desire to drink some tea that could help my body ge rid of toxins accumulated in the winter and fall. I'm so happy that it is March by the way - my favorite half of they year has begun! I don't have tea often, but when I do, I usually go for a green/black tea for energy or a detox tea to clear toxins out of my system.
Most of these teas you can get from your local grocery store or online. If not, there are many variations of these combinations/ingredients on the market. Be sure to read the ingredients to ensure you are not allergic to anything!
1. Numi Organic Jasmine Green Tea
This tea gives me energy, yet, calms me at the same time. I personally like to make this tea hot, then put it in the fridge with ice to drink it cold later or the next day. It's very refreshing. Feel free to add sweeteners or milk if that's how you like your tea. I like the taste of plain green tea, so I do not feel the need to add sweeteners.
2. DYI Honey Pear Mint Tea
The flavor of this tea is outrageous! The pear and honey combination packs a nice punch! It's simple, Based on your preference, start with hot or cold water. Chop a few slices of pear and pour 2 ounces of pear juice. Add some honey and fresh mint leaves. You are good to go!
3. Yogi Bedtime Tea
Joe really got me into this tea. It calms me before bed. It is rich with flavor and has a lot of health benefits. For instance, the lavender and chamomile are calming ingredients. The spearmint and cinnamon are great for digestion.
4. Numi Chocolate Pu-erh Tea
I love to have this tea with dessert, or when I'm craving chocolate! I like to have it hot with some almond milk for an extra sweet taste. The chocolate flavor really comes into play and I love it!
5. DIY Lemon Ginger Tea
This is a very simple, refreshing and delightful combination. I love to drink this tea with or before a meal. Start with hot or cold water. Chop a couple slices of fresh lemon and squeeze some lemon juice. Chop a couple slices of fresh ginger and pinch some ginger powder. Mix together and you are all set!
Grab yourself one of these teas and have a good day! P.S. I found more cute images from Pinterest that I'd like to share!
Ciao for now,
