Hiii loves! In today's post, I'm sharing my mini baecation with Joe - outfits and fun things we did!
The first outfit - this red rose polka dot top from Pretty Little Thing is classy with a touch of modern style. It can be worn with the ties in front or back. I wanted to be more conservative for this look so I wore the ties in the back. Very comfortable, thin material top with bell sleeves. It's a statement piece and I'll definitely keep/wear again. Paired with a red lip (see previous posts for red lip info) and straightened/curled my hair with a straightener. This is my go to hair style on mini-trips because a straightener does it all and I do not want to pack a million things. I have a Chi straightener click HERE to view. I wore a simple pair of BP high rise black leggings from Nordstrom and gray faux suede booties from NY & Co. The booties are currently sold out, so I linked similar styles HERE, HERE and HERE.
The second outfit - this green mock neck top with lace detail is from NY & Co. It also comes I white. It's a very fun and romantic piece, I loved wearing it. Click HERE, HERE and HERE to see similar lace styles from NY & Co. I paired it with a black velvet , gold chain clutch from Windsor. It's actually sold out, so I linked similar styles HERE and HERE. And black mid-rise ripped jeans from Old Navy. They have many types of fitted jeans for an affordable price. Most ripped jean styles show more skin - I liked these because they aren't too ripped. Last, but not least, these velvet dark green heels from Forever 21 are the best! They brought the whole outfit together. They are sold out, however, I found the cutest pair of green velvet pumps from Forever 21, click HERE. They would go great with this look!
It's our tradition to have an mini baecation every fall/winter. A couple days to get away and unplug so we can have quality time with each other. This year, we stayed two nights at a resort, got fancy for dinner both nights, attended a comedy show and had spa day passes. The features in the spa were amazing! Sauna, steam room, hot steamy jacuzzi, a gym (with a decent selection of weights/weight lifting equipment, we were pleasantly surprised) and an indoor pool. Our favorite was the comedy show. There were three acts and all were hilarious. Joe and I were constantly laughing, and the place was packed - about 200 people. So much fun!
Ciao for now,
Italiana
