Hello, Happy FriYay! Last Friday of 2017! No better way to end 2017 than in a dress like this! It's a show stopper - the sequin details, the radiance of colors, the hues, the low back halter style! It's beautiful. It's not heavy at all, and it's under $40! I didn't want to take it off! The copper/bronze, silver and pink shade... ahh, so beautiful!
This till sundown black multi sequin shift dress from Tobi is the real winner. Perfect for New Years Eve, date night with your boo, a holiday party with the girls, a girls night out, etc. It's made from polyester and so fabulous! I ordered a size medium because I'm on the taller side (I like to play it safe so it's not too short). It has a self tie halter closure so you can wear the v-neck closer to your neckline if you prefer. It's lined so you do not feel sequins rubbing nor scratching your body. It has that shimmy affect - so fun to dance while wearing this piece. Tobi also has similar style sequin dresses in solid colors! Click HERE, HERE and HERE. Also, some other cute sequin solid color dresses with a low cut back, click HERE, HERE and HERE. They are all under $50 - can't beat that!
I paired this dress with a faux fur white scarf from Missguided. It is sold out, but I linked other faux fur scarfs HERE and HERE. The my clear/mauve strap heels are from Windsor. See similar options HERE, HERE, HERE and HERE. All of these options would work well with this style dress. When wearing sequins, the goal is to not overpower the main attraction. Neutrals and solids are a good choice when looking for a purse or shoes to match.
Now, I'd like to share my favorite eye shadow palettes from 2017. There are many eye catching, good pigmented, newly launched palettes from 2017. Some are worth the money and some have amazing dups at an affordable price. My favorites blend smooth and don't have too much kick up (aka don't make a mess). I've experimented on many. The trick is not to own so many shadow palettes. Honestly, owning the right 5 palettes can provide you with endless eye looks. Some of them are new products, some have been on the market for years. In my experiences, the five below are worth every dollar and cent! Click the images to shop!
- Morphe x Jaclyn Hill Palette: My favoriteeeeee. Has all of the beautiful shades I could ever dream of! Jaclyn hit it out of the park. This one is a must!
- Dose of Colors Marvelous Mauves Palette: My go-to palette. These shades go with every eye color and every lippie color. If you want a little something, or a natural, but stand out look. This is for you. They also have 3 other palettes of the same style (different shades/tones).
- Huda Beauty Desert Dusk Palette: In my opinion, Huda's best palette. The colors are so vibrant and pretty. At first, I didn't want to touch it because I was afraid to mess it up! It has shades similar to the Natasha Denona Lila Palette, but way more affordable.
- Pur x Etienne Pro Palette: Really love the shades here. I reach for it every now and then. It never fails to impress me! The Midnight blue shade is a dream.
- Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette: Last, but not least. UD has some of the easiest eye shadow shades to work with. Blend smooth and have good pigmentation. UD is always a yes! When I saw this palette in the summer, I was smiling from ear to ear. The rich, warm red hues are hot and really lovely.
Have you tried any of these? What do you think of them? Let me know! Leave a comment or send me a message! Happy New Years! I hope you have a great weekend and a fabulous start to the new year! Cheers!
Ciao for now,
Italiana
