Velvet. Where do I begin? The look, the texture, the colors, the styles, the accessories...! And the best part of it all, it is absolutely comfortable. It is velvet's year, it's everywhere. I haven't come across a woman's clothing store that doesn't sell at least one item of velvet. I own the cutest velvet set from Forever 21. It's sold out, BUT I found a similar one HERE in a couple of colors. Grab a jacket and it's a perfect look for a night out. If you plan on doing a little dancing, this outfit is on point.
My mustard crushed velvet top is also from Forever 21. Crushed velvet and velvet are basically the same. To my knowledge, the only difference is that crushed velvet has a "crushed" appearance and texture. I prefer crushed velvet for more of a casual look (jumpers and t-shirts). Regular velvet items look more smooth and classy. Both have that comfortable feel to them.
When I first heard about Forever 21, I liked it, but the material wasn't the best. It was good for the price and affordable. However, I was turned off and I stopped shopping there. Until about 3 years ago - I walked in and noticed there was a lot of nice quality items. I find a lot of good stuff there now, and really great for the price.
