Happy Wednesday! How breathtaking is this view? So gorgeous, hard to believe it's New York! Felt like I was in Italy when taking these photos. It reminded me of my trip to the coast of Italy a few years ago, especially the white rocks and colorful trees/bushes.
In today's post, I'm going to share details of my outfit and a recipe from Thanksgiving day. This outfit was chosen with the following thoughts in mind - hide food baby, comfortable but ever so chic. This charcoal gray v-neck twist chunky sweater from Zaful may show a little peak of my stomach in some photos, but don't let it fool you! The twisted knot right at the bottom-center of the sweater perfectly hid my full belly. The knot camouflaged in such a way that even from the side, no food baby was noticed. Even after two yodels and chocolate peanut butter cookies. Mission accomplished.
I picked up this black quilted jacket from Missguided last winter. So comfortable and warm - I found similar styles HERE, HERE and HERE. These gold spherical drop earrings are from New York and Company. They come in several other colors, too many to choose from! My black tapered red lense aviator sunnies are from Missguided. They paired well with this red lip color and brought the whole look together. See the black and blue outfit post from last week for details on this lipstick!

SO much food was consumed that day. Grateful for all the food that was on my plate. One of the recipes Joe made was so delicious, and we had leftovers all weekend!! It was by far my favorite. I call it his Magic Spinach Quinoa Salad. Recipe was easy and practical:
- 1 cup of quinoa
- 1 bag of organic spinach
- 2 cans of black olives
- 2 large organic cucumbers chopped
- 2 organic red tomatoes chopped
- 2 organic green bell peppers chopped
- 5 large organic carrots chopped
- 5 organic celery stalks chopped
- 2 cans of chickpeas
- 2 cups of pumpkin seeds
- 2 cups of sunflower seeds
- 2 tbsp. of olive oil
- 2 tbsp. of apple cider vinegar (make sure it has "the mother")
- 1/2 organic lemon squeezed
- 2 tsp. of organic honey
Ciao for now,
Italiana
