Happy Thanksgiving Eve! This year, I've grown to become more appreciative and thankful for the simple/little things in life - among people, moments, happenings, etc. And I'm utterly obsessed and thankful for this outfit! I wore it to dinner the other night and didn't want the night to end because I didn't want to take it off! I adore it. It's a mixture between comfortable and chic.
Can never go wrong with red lipstick. It brought the whole look together. This red lipstick is a current favorite of mine. It's in the shade Russian Red by Mac Cosmetics. A couple other red shades that I love from Mac are Ruby Woo and Lady Danger. Here are swatch comparisons from Pinterest so you can see which one you like the best:
My Scallop Hem Skirt is from ASOS. You will see me wearing it often, it is my go-to black skirt this winter. I like how it's not too tight or too loose. It's available in other colors! This "Anny" High-neck Cable-knit Sweater from Goodnight Macaroon comes in two colors and one size. I got mine in navy blue. They are currently running a sale for Black Friday. Use code BlackFriday2017 to receive 30% off! And drum roll........ Target strikes again - that's where my navy velvet booties are from! Target has some really nice quality shoes as you can tell! Shop Dania Crushed Velvet Sock Booties - Mossimo Supply Co. if you'd like to own a pair, too!
SO much to do and so little time. Another thing I'm thankful for is this checklist. I wanted to share it with you because it's perfect for the holidays. I like how there is a section to note things to be thankful for. It's so cute and appealing - also from Pinterest! It helped me stay organized for Thanksgiving/Black Friday preparations the past few days. I always make a check list so I don't forget anything I need to do - it's a life saver. Some of the items on my list were grocery shopping, cooking what/when, outfit details, Thanksgiving agenda, Black Friday gift ideas/particular stores with sales, etc. I also thought the water checklist was a nice addition because we get so busy during the holidays and staying hydrated is important.
Have a lovely Thanksgiving everyone! May there be little traffic and plenty of food! :)
Ciao for now,
Italiana
